1.Check The Neck

Make sure it doesn’t bend.otherwise you’ll get an out of tune sound verytime you play it



2.Check The fretwires

it’s very important “cause you ain’t gonna get a round sound if the fretwires in a bed condition(scraped off to much)











3.Check its elektronics,such as

Pick up

Turn on the instrument and try to knock gently to every pole piece pickups.if the sound good & loud it means everything’s ok


Potensiometer volume & tone control

Make sure the volume & tone control work good every time you twist them.




4.Check The Hardware

Tuners

Try

to twist them backward & forward



Nut
Every instrument have has its own type of nut.it means,every instrument has its unique sound according to what kind of nut it used. Make sure it doesn’t break

Bridge
Make sure it can be control up & down

5.Check the serial number

it gives you information about where & when the instrument was made and to make sure it is original one or not.

6.Check the instrument finishing

make sure it used the original paint. ‘cause if it was repainted,it would effect the wood’s resonance.
