Sreet musician are people who play music on public places.in my country Indonesia,especially in jakarta,you can see them in very corners of the city.some of them do this for fun but most of them for a living.lack of job field is the main cause.

In Indonesia sreet musicians are usually called "PENGAMEN".they use accoustic gitars as the major instrument,but they also use harmonika,tamborine,double bass,and event used mineral water bottle.most are male but some are fimale.many of them are skilless in playing music instrument and singing.just few of them who have good sense of music.

The Pengamen are mostly coming from poor people.economic factor has forced them to do anything to survive.in otherway,their presence are commonly make people unpleased.but they keep on singging and after that they'll ask for money in return.

Sreet musicians will always playing their music night&day, in a bus, in train, and in every corner of the city...good luck Pengamen..sing a beautiful song,let people of jakarta realize your presence....
